Join us for a self-paced, adults-only Open House session on October 10th. Visit our cozy indoor and outdoor learning spaces, meet Kalie, and learn more about Preschool and Outdoor Studio.
Each session is 45 minutes and limited to eight participants.
Available arrival times: 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Preschool
A morning garden-based preschool for 3 - 5 year olds.
Summer in the Garden
A mud, water, and art-centered program for 3 - 5 year olds.
All programs include one nutritious snack.

2 and 4-day / week schedules available
Children are seen as capable contributors and are invited to participate in our learning community in many ways. Calm indoor and outdoor environments encourage independence, practical learning, and collaboration.
With a small class-size of 6, children are able to engage in extensive projects, receive individualized support, and form deep connections.
Outdoor Studio

Our fully outdoor studio offers time and space for children to think with their hands. Children are invited to build, create, and experiment in a sensory-rich garden atmosphere.
Begins conveniently after SLO Coastal District TK Dismissal, just steps away from Pacheco Elementary.
With just 6 children, the studio remains flexible, collaborative, and responsive to children’s ideas.
Summer in the Garden
Intentionally small, for slow summer days.

Summer in the Garden is an unhurried summer program where children spend their mornings digging, building, making art, and tending to the garden.
The day includes time for outdoor exploration, caring for our shared spaces, snack, music, and stories.
For some families, Summer in the Garden can be an introduction to the Preschool program. A limited number of combined Summer in the Garden + Preschool placements may be available.
All programs are best suited for children who can independently manage toileting, as we are not set up for diapering.
